هدف البحث الحالي إلى  التعرف على التوجهات الحديثة في دراسة صعوبات تعلم القراءة والكشف عن جوانب القصور فيها، وإظهار جوانب القوة لديها حتى يتسنى لنا الاستفادة منها، وتطرقت الدراسة إلى عرض أحدث التعريفات التي تناولت مفهوم صعوبات وتم عرض بعض الأبحاث والدراسات  الحديثة والمقالات المنشورة في المجلات العلمية التي تناولت هذا المفهوم مع بعض المتغيرات، وتم عمل مراجعة منهجية على 30 دراسة تحليلية للاتجاهات الحديثة في البحوث المتعلقة بصعوبات تعلم القراءة، حيث ستركز على:( المنهجيات البحثية المستخدمة في الدراسات السابقة، خصائص العينات، الأدوات المستخدمة، وسنة النشر، الأهداف، العينة، الأدوات المستخدمة ، النتائج، التوصيات )،  و كذلك تم اختيار الدراسات و الأبحاث وفق معايير محددة، وهى:
1- الأبحاث المنشورة حديثا من عام 2010 إلى 2024، اللغات العربية و الإنجليزية.
2- حسب المنهج: دراسات وصفية ،دراسات تجريبية ،دراسات تحليلية.
3- حسب العينة: الأطفال الذين يعانون من صعوبات تعلم القراءة ، معلمي القراءة ، أولياء الأمور
4- حسب الأدوات المستخدمة: مقاييس مستخدمة مسبقًا ،مقاييس معدة خصيصًا للدراسة 5-الأساليب الإحصائية: التكرارات والنسب المئوية. وأسفر البحث الحالي عن أهمية دمج برامج تعليمية مخصصة لدعم الطلاب الذين يعانون من صعوبات في القراءة باستخدام برامج تربوية و تضمين التكنولوجيا في العملية التعليمية لذوي صعوبات تعلم القراءة ، وكذلك كانت معظم الدراسات بينهما اتفاق في تضمين التكنولوجيا و تطوير أدوات القياس والبرامج  ، وتطوير الجوانب التطبيقية المرتبطة بالمعلمين والوالدين ومساعدتهم على تنفيذ تلك التوصيات.
The current research aimed to identify recent trends in the study of reading learning difficulties, uncovering aspects of deficiencies while highlighting strengths for potential benefit. The study presented the latest definitions related to the concept of difficulties and reviewed recent research, studies, and articles published in scientific journals addressing this concept alongside various variables. A systematic review was conducted on 30 analytical studies concerning modern trends in research related to reading learning difficulties, focusing on: research methodologies used in previous studies, sample characteristics, tools employed, publication years, objectives, samples, results, and recommendations. The selected studies adhered to specific criteria:
 1) Research published recently from 2010 to 2024 in Arabic and English; 
2) Methodology: descriptive studies, experimental studies, and analytical studies; 
3) Samples: children with reading learning difficulties, reading teachers, and parents;
 4) Tools used: pre-existing scales and scales specifically developed for the study; 
5) Statistical methods: frequencies and percentages. The current research revealed the importance of integrating specialized educational programs to support students with reading difficulties using educational software and incorporating technology into the educational process for those with reading learning difficulties. Most studies agreed on including technology, developing measurement tools and programs, and enhancing the practical aspects associated with teachers and parents to help implement these recommendations.
