هدف الباحث من خلال هذا البحث الى معرفة الصعوبات التي تواجه نزلاء المؤسسة العقابية والاصلاحية لمهارة التواصل اللغوي الاجتماعي، واعتمد الباحث بشكل أساسي على المنهج الوصفي، وقام الباحث بإعداد قائمة للصعوبات التي تواجه نزلاء المؤسسات العقابية والاصلاحية لمهارات التواصل اللغوي الاجتماعي، وذلك بالاعتماد على مصدرين هما الدراسات السابقة والخبراء والأكاديميين في هذا المجال، وتم عرض القائمة على عشرين خبيراً مختصاً، ومن ثم تم أخذ ملاحظاتهم وآرائهم بالاعتبار لإخراج القائمة بشكلها النهائي، وبعد ذلك تمت المعالجة الاحصائية للقائمة ودراسة صدقها وثباتها. وأهم ما توصل إليه الباحث من نتائج: أنّ هناك 5 صعوبات خاصة بمهارة التواصل اللغوي اللفظي، كصعوبة التكلم بطلاقة وثقة وصعوبة التعبير عن رأيه، و4 صعوبات خاصة بمهارة التواصل اللغوي غير اللفظي، كصعوبة التواصل مع الأخرين باستخدام لغة الجسد، و6 صعوبات خاصة بمهارة التواصل الاجتماعي، كصعوبة المشاركة مع زملاءه في المهام والأنشطة الجماعية.
The researcher aimed through this research to know the difficulties faced by inmates of penal and correctional institutions for the skill of social linguistic communication. The researcher relied mainly on the descriptive approach. The researcher prepared a list of the difficulties facing the inmates of penal and correctional institutions for the skills of social linguistic communication, by relying on two sources: studies. The researcher’s previous experience and personal experience as a lecturer for inmates in the penal and correctional institution. The list was presented to twenty specialized experts, and then their comments and opinions were taken into account to produce the list in its final form. After that, the list was statistically processed and its validity and reliability were studied. The most important findings of the researcher: There are 5 difficulties specific to the skill of verbal linguistic communication, such as difficulty speaking, difficulty expressing one’s opinion boldly, and difficulty being affected by the surrounding situations and influencing them, and 4 difficulties specific to the skill of non-verbal linguistic communication, such as difficulty communicating using body language and linking physical expressions. And its meaning, and 6 difficulties specific to the skill of social communication, such as the difficulty of participating in conversation with the group and choosing the appropriate tone of voice.
