هدفت الدراسة الوقوف على الأطر النظرية لمعايير تمهين التعليم في الفكر التربوي المعاصر، وتقديم تصور مستقبلي لتفعيل معايير تمهين التعليم بدولة الكويت. واتبع الباحثان المنهج الوصفي لتحقيق تلك الأهداف. وتوصلت الدراسة لخمسة معايير لتمهين التعليم هي: سياسة القبول في كليات إعداد المعلم، وبرامج إعداد المعلم، والتنمية المهنية للمعلم أثناء الخدمة، والترخيص لممارسة مهنة التعليم، ومكانة المعلم، وقدم الباحثان تصور مستقبلي لتفعيل معايير تمهين التعليم بدولة الكويت. وفي ضوء النتائج قدم الباحثان بعض المقترحات الإجرائية لتطوير التعليم بدولة الكويت في ضوء معايير تمهين التعليم.
 
A future vision to activate the standards of professionalization of education in the State of Kuwait
Abstract: The study aimed to identify the theoretical frameworks for the standards of professionalization of education in contemporary literature, and to present a future proposal to activate the standards of professionalization of education in the State of Kuwait. The researchers followed the descriptive methodology to achieve these goals. The study found five standards for professionalization of education which are: the admission policy in teacher preparation colleges, teacher preparation programs, teacher’s in-service professional development, teaching licensing, and the position of the teacher. In light of the results, the researchers presented some procedural proposals to develop the education in the State of Kuwait considering the standards of professionalization of education.
