إن مادة العلوم هي أکثر المواد الدراسية مناسبةً لتعلم الاختراعات العلمية وتعرف تاريخ الاختراعات العلمية وطرق تفکير العلماء والمخترعين للتوصل لها, وکيفية تطور تلک الاختراعات, مما قد يساعد التلاميذ ليحزوا حزوهم عند مواجهة مشکلة أو موقف يحتاج الجمع بين مهارات التفکير الناقد والإبداعي, مما قد يساهم في تنمية مهارات التفکير المنتج لديهم, لذا هدف البحث إلى التحقق من فاعلية تعلم الاختراعات العلمية لتنمية بعض مهارات التفکير المنتج لتلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي, اشتملت عينة البحث على عدد (40) تلميذة بمدرسة ناصر الإعدادية بنات بحلوان. تم إعداد وحدة مطورة قائمة على التعلم بالإختراعات العلمية ومقياس التفکير المنتج لقياس فاعلية ذلک في تنمية مهارات التفکير المنتج لدى عينة البحث , توصلت النتائج إلى حدوث تحسن فى مهارات التفکير المنتج لعينة البحث.
The science is the most suitable subject for learning scientific inventions, and knows the history of scientific inventions: It shows the history of the scientific inventions, the thinking ways of scientists and inventors to get them, and the ways to develop such inventions. Thus, this will help  the students to follow them when they face a problem or situation which needs to combine between critical and creative thinking skills, this can result in developing their  productive thinking skills.so, the research aimed to investigating the effectiveness of learning scientific inventions to develop some productive thinking skills for first year preparatory class pupils. The research sample included (40) female pupils at Nasser Preparatory School for Girls in Helwan. Developing  unit based on learning scientific inventions and a scale to measure the effectiveness of this in developing the productive thinking skills of the research sample. The results revealed  an improvement in the productive thinking skills for the research sample
