هدف هذا البحث إلى قياس فاعلية استراتيجية القياس التطبيقي القائمة على النظرية البنائية في تنمية الکفاءة النحوية والأداء الکتابي لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية. 
وتحددت مشکلة هذا البحث في ضعف الکفاءة النحوية والأداء الکتابي لدى طلاب الصف الثالث الثانوي، والافتقار إلى استراتيجيات حديثة لتنميتهم؛ مثل: استراتيجية القياس التطبيقي.
وللوصول إلى حل هذه المشکلة سار البحث في مجموعة من الخطوات؛ لعل من أهمها: تحديد أسس بناء الاستراتيجية، وتحديد خطوات بنائها المتمثلة في تحديد أهدافها، وتحديد المحتوى النحوي المراد تدريسه، وخطوات التدريس، وإجراءاتها، والأنشطة، والوسائط المستخدمة، وتقويمها، وبناء دليل المعلم لاستخدامها في ضوء النظرية البنائية، وقياس فاعليتها في تنمية الکفاءة النحوية والأداء الکتابي لدى طلاب الصف الثالث الثانوي؛ وذلک من خلال بناء اختبار لقياس الکفاءة النحوية والأداء الکتابي، وضبطه، واختيار مجموعة من طلاب الصف الثالث الثانوي، وتطبيق هذا الاختبار على هذه المجموعة قبلياً، ثم تطبيق الاستراتيجية المقترحة على هذه المجموعة، ثم إعادة تطبيق هذا الاختبار على تلک المجموعة بعدياً. 
وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج؛ لعل من أهمها: فاعلية استراتيجية القياس التطبيقي القائمة على النظرية البنائية في تنمية الکفاءة النحوية والأداء الکتابي لدى طلاب الصف الثالث الثانوي.
 
The research aimed at measuring the effect of applied measurement strategy based on Constructivism theory for developing grammar competence and writing performance for  secondary school students. The problem of the study can be stated as the weakness of grammatical competence and writing performance for 3rd year secondary school students and the lack of using current and modern strategies as applied measurement strategy. To overcome this problem, the research went through specific steps; identifying the principles of designing strategy, the aims, the grammar content, teaching steps, procedures, activities , teaching aids , evaluation and teacher’s guide. The research measured the effect of applied measurement strategy on developing grammatical competence and writing performance for  secondary school students through designing grammatical competence and writing performance test and ensuring its validity. The participants were also chosen from 3rd year secondary school students. The pre test was used before the experiment then the participants received teaching with the suggested strategy. The most important findings of the present research were ensuring the effect of applied measurement strategy based on constructivism theory for developing grammatical competence and writing performance for 3rd year secondary school students
